Updated 20.02.00
Tilt-A-Whirl load
This load contains all the parts for the complete
waltzer. Cars are on the left and platforms on the left.
Track
The first step is to assemble the circular track.
The cars roll over the hills and valleys of this track.
Assembly of the track continues
Platforms
When the track is ready, floorboards are
lifted to their places. They are attached to the revolving
centre of the track. Since all the floorboards have wheels,
they revolve around the track.
Engine
Engine is waiting for the installation. Note wheels for the cable drive.
More floorboards
Half of the floor is already done.
Installing the cars
Cars are installed when the floor is ready.
More cars are installed
Cars are attached to a pivot pin on platform.
Cars also have wheels, so they spin freely around the pin.
Canvas
The canvas in the center covers the frame of the ride.
Installing the engine
Note the cable that drives the ride.
Cupolas
The cupolas act as decorations and rain covers.
Finishing touch
The ride is already operational, but some
finishing is yet to be done. Paybox, fences, entrance
floorboards etc. have not been installed yet.
Finished Tilt-A-Whirl
The whole appearance of the ride changes as the
final parts are attached.
